Double Glazing Solution

At Tudor Sash Windows we offer a double glazed solution to your windows without the need for a complete new window, our solution ensures the windows look like the original windows whilst giving you the benefits of double glazing.

New bespoke double glazed hardwood sashes are made to match your existing sashes and then installed into your original sash box frame.

This removes the need for a complete replacement window, saving you money and also the disruption caused to internal walls and fittings.

The sashes are made using the traditional method meaning all the panes are individual and no stick on glazing bars are used.

The glazing is fitted using a puttey so the windows look the same both inside and outside as the originals.

Slim gas filled double glazing will be installed into the sashes along with the draught proofing system fitted to the window.

New sash weights and cords are installed to balance the new sashes to ensure they operate smoothly.
